The Massachusetts State Office of Rural Health provides staff support and coordination to the MA Rural Council on Health, known as MARCH.

The group of 20 rural based providers and community leaders includes representation from a broad range of service types and members from all rural areas of the state. In addition, many staff from multiple state agencies and other statewide organizations interested in rural health participate in this group's activities.

MARCH serves not only in an advisory capacity to the State Office of Rural Health, but provides leadership for rural health across the state. They periodically host larger educational and networking events to bring together a greater network of rural health stakeholders in our state.

MARCH focus areas include:

Health Equity

Telehealth

Behavioral Health

Healthcare Workforce

Community Engagement
